"Today was my first time going there and the experience and people were great. I was invited by a member who I met at the park earlier that day. I am military and just lost my mother to cancer earlier this month, so having been invited out and meeting such friendly people brought hope in my heart and I felt at home. We watched a movie near the pool area on a projector screen and are s’mores under the stars. It was great company for me and my family. I usually watched movies with my mom and cal her about our favorite shows to go over what the show was about. So it was a big step for me to come out and show my face and I truly appreciate the ones at Elk lodges making me, my husband and my children feel comfortable during these times."

"If you’re a mom who breastfeeds your child I wouldn’t go here. The manager publicly humiliated one of my good friends in front of as many people as possible while shaming her for feeding her child while not “facing a corner and covering up” in 103 degree heat. She was watching her other children to keep them safe while simply trying to feed her kid. Absolutely unprofessional and illegal. Disgrace of a business to allow that."
